Group lessons are a great way to learn about social ballroom dancing. In addition to meeting new people and making new friends, and learning new dance steps, you have the opportunity to learn and practice new dance partnering skills with a variety of people in a comfortable environment. This will greatly improve your ability to dance with that special person or with anyone, anywhere, for any occasion.

This course is a Mini Ballroom Sampler" course designed to introduce the novice dancer to more patterns in two different dances. Emphasis will be placed on basic lead and follow skills so that you can dance more comfortably with a partner and have FUN! Dances introduced this term:

Beautiful Bolero! The suave elegant latin counterpart to NightClub Two Step. This dance has a sensuous ebb and flow of movement that makes it one of the most romantic of all the ballroom dances. Great dance to learn before that next special occasion!
In this class you will learn a nice combination of patterns as well as the technique of the movement that characterizes the personality of Bolero. The patterns are easy to learn, and the style and technique make you look good and feel good when you're on the dance floor.
